AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1765 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1765 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Illinois Power Agency Act is amended  by 
5adding Section 1-126 as follows:
 
6    (20 ILCS 3855/1-126 new)
7    Sec. 1-126. Summary of current and projected electric 
8generation load; reports. Beginning on the effective date of 
9this amendatory Act of the 97th General Assembly, the Agency 
10shall conduct a review of the information published by the 
11regional transmission organizations (RTOs) in which the 
12State's electric utilities' service territories are located 
13for the purpose of summarizing current and projected electric 
14generation load within each RTO, including what portion of the 
15load is, or projected to be, generated by facilities located in 
16Illinois.  No later than January 1, 2012, the Agency shall issue

1a report to the General Assembly that summarizes this 
2information.
 

3    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
4becoming law.".
