| 1 | | AN ACT concerning employment.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Labor Law of the

| 5 | | Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section |
| 6 | | 1505-130 as follows:

| 7 | | (20 ILCS 1505/1505-130 new) |
| 8 | | Sec. 1505-130. Arbitration services. If the Department of |
| 9 | | Labor began providing arbitration services with respect to a |
| 10 | | particular controversy or difference under the Labor |
| 11 | | Arbitration Services Act before its repeal, the Department may |
| 12 | | continue to provide such arbitration services as may be |
| 13 | | necessary for the resolution of that controversy or difference |
| 14 | | in accordance with that Act as it existed immediately before |
| 15 | | its repeal.

| 17 | | Section 10. The Labor Arbitration Services Act is repealed.

| 18 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
