AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2004 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2004 on page 8, by 
3replacing lines 16 through 18 with the following:
4        "(20) Knows the individual assaulted to be either:
5            (A) a person authorized to serve process under 
6        Section 2-202 of the Code of Civil Procedure; or
7            (B) a special process server appointed by the 
8        circuit court;
9    while that individual is in the performance of his or her 
10    duties as a process server."; and
 
11on page 15, by replacing lines 17 and 18 with the following:
12        "(23) Knows the individual harmed to be a either:
13            (A) a person authorized to serve process under 
14        Section 2-202 of the Code of Civil Procedure; or
15            (B) a special process server appointed by the 
16        circuit court;
17    while that individual is in the performance of his or her
