| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2488, AS AMENDED, |
| 3 | | in Section 5, Sec. 12-610.1, after the last sentence of |
| 4 | | subsection (e), by inserting the following: |
| 5 | | "As used in this subsection (e), "construction or maintenance |
| 6 | | project" means an area of a highway with construction, |
| 7 | | maintenance, or utility work activities, identified by the |
| 8 | | placement of temporary traffic control signs and extending from |
| 9 | | the first orange sign warning of road work or construction |
| 10 | | ahead to the last temporary traffic control signs.".
