| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2520 on page 1, |
| 3 | | line 7, by inserting "; aiding a fugitive to flee the |
| 4 | | jurisdiction" after "fugitive"; and

| 5 | | on page 1, line 8, by replacing "Every" with "(a) Every"; and
|
| 6 | | on page 1, by inserting immediately below line 12 the |
| 7 | | following: |
| 8 | | "(b) Every person, 18 years of age or older, who, with |
| 9 | | intent to
prevent the apprehension of the offender, aids or |
| 10 | | assists the
offender, by some volitional act, in fleeing the |
| 11 | | municipality, county,
State, country, or other defined |
| 12 | | jurisdiction in which the
offender is to be arrested, charged, |
| 13 | | or prosecuted, commits a
Class 4 felony.".
