AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3621 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3621 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:


 
 
4    "Section 5. The Department of State Police Law of the
Civil 
5Administrative Code of Illinois is amended  by changing Section 
62605-407 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 2605/2605-407)
8    Sec. 2605-407. Illinois State Police Federal Projects 
9Trust Fund. The Illinois State Police Federal Projects Trust 
10Fund is established created as a federal trust fund in the 
11State treasury. This federal Trust Fund is established to 
12receive funds awarded to the Department of State Police from 
13the following: (i) all federal departments and agencies for the 
14specific purposes established by the terms and conditions of 
15the federal awards and (ii) federal pass-through grants from 
16State departments and agencies for the specific purposes

1established by the terms and conditions of the grant 
2agreements. Any interest earnings that are attributable to 
3moneys in the federal trust fund must be deposited into the 
4Fund All interest earned by the investment or deposit of moneys 
5accumulated in the Trust Fund shall be deposited into the Trust 
6Fund.

8    Section 10. The State Finance Act is amended by adding 
9Sections 5-811 and  5-812 as follows:
 
10    (30 ILCS 105/5-811 new)
11    Sec. 5-811. The Illinois State Police Federal Projects 
12Fund.
 
13    (30 ILCS 105/5-812 new)
14    Sec. 5-812. The State Police Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention 
15Trust Fund.
 
 
16    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
17becoming law.".
