Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code. In the definition of "facility director", provides that a designee of the facility director may include a clinical professional counselor. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental |
| 5 | | Disabilities Code is amended by changing Section 1-104 as |
| 6 | | follows:
|

| 8 | | Sec. 1-104.
"Facility director" means the chief officer of |
| 9 | | a mental
health or developmental disabilities facility or his |
| 10 | | designee or the supervisor
of a program of treatment or |
| 11 | | habilitation, or his designee. Designee may
include a |
| 12 | | physician, clinical psychologist, social worker, clinical |
| 13 | | professional counselor, or nurse.
