SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Paulette A. Van Laeke of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on December 18, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Paulette Van Laeke was born on May 10, 1956, in 
6Waukegan; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Paulette Van Laeke served as a dietary technician 
8at Victory Memorial Hospital for nearly 30 years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Paulette Van Laeke enjoyed animals, especially 
10her kitty, Ginger; she also enjoyed listening to music, 
11especially Elvis Presley, horseback riding, and spending time 
12with her family; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Paulette Van Laeke was preceded in death by her 
14sisters, Nancy Lee Koschak and Sandra and Bill Miscichowski; 
15her parents, Leo and Pauline Van Laeke; and her many aunts and 
16uncles; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Paulette Van Laeke is survived by her nieces and 
18nephews, Denise (Michael) Collins, Dawn Koschak, Darlene 
19Nedelka, Perry (Heather) Lentine, Julie May, Gina Lentine, Lisa 
20(John) Walczak, Bill Miscichowski, Linnae Cerqua, Paul

1(Michelle) Miscichowski, Cory (Laura) Ayers, and Brandon 
2Ayers; her 26 great nieces and nephews; her great-great-niece 
3and great-great-nephew; and her sisters, Shirley (Ray) Hoven 
4and Linda Ayers; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7her family and friends, the passing of Paulette A. Van Laeke; 
8and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Paulette Van Laeke as an expression 
11of our sympathy.
