SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Ted Czerniak of Des Plaines, who passed 
4away on January 18, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ted Czerniak was born on June 21, 1924, in 
6Chicago; his parents were Teofil and Marie Czerniak; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Ted Czerniak served his country with pride and 
8distinction as a member of the United States Army during World 
9War II; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Ted Czerniak worked in the bakery business his 
11entire lifetime; he and his family are the current owners of 
12Central Continental Bakery in Mount Prospect; today, his 
13children still work from a book of old recipes originally 
14belonging to Mr. Czerniak's father; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Ted Czerniak was preceded in death by his son, 
16Roger, and his brother, Robert; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Ted Czerniak was the loving husband of 62 years to 
18Dolores; the beloved father of Robert (Marilyn), Robin, 
19Cynthia, and Randall; the grandfather of 11; and the 
20great-grandfather of 4; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3his family and friends, the passing of Ted Czerniak; and be it 
4further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Ted Czerniak as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
