SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Thomas M. Rembacz of Cary, who passed 
4away on February 8, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Rembacz was born on February 7, 1952, in 
6Chicago; his parents were Mitchell and Rosemary Rembacz; he 
7married Joan McLaughlin on May 13, 1989, in Prospect Heights; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Thomas Rembacz was a member of the Des Plaines 
10Police Department for 31 years; during his career with the 
11department, he was given 10 honorable mentions and 20 citizen 
12letters of appreciation; he was most recently employed at the 
13McHenry County Sheriff's Department, where he worked in 
14courthouse security detail; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Thomas Rembacz enjoyed photography and had 
16started his own company, Rembacz Photography; he also enjoyed 
17fishing, bicycling, and scuba diving; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Thomas Rembacz is survived by his wife, Joan M. 
19(McLaughlin) Rembacz; his children, Sarah Rembacz and Leigh 
20Rembacz; his mother, Rosemary Nickles; his siblings, Carol 
21Nickles, Paul Nickles, Michael Rembacz, and Darlene Jensen; and

1his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
4his family and friends, the passing of Thomas M. Rembacz; and 
5be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Thomas Rembacz as an expression of 
8our sympathy.
