SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Mary Alice Mullery of Gurnee, who passed 
4away on March 13, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born August 1, 1960 in Waukegan and was a 
6lifelong Lake County resident; she graduated from North Chicago 
7Community High School and attended the College of Lake County; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, She worked as a manager for Hospira after having 
10worked for more than 15 years for Abbott Laboratories; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, She loved to travel with a special place in her 
12heart for Ireland, the home of her ancestors and is mourned by 
13family there as well as her family in Lake County; she was also 
14an avid gardener and her yard a place of beauty and peace where 
15family and friends were always welcome; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her father, John 
17Mullery; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Mary Alice Mullery is survived by her daughter, 
19Julia Mullery; her mother, Virginia Mullery; her sisters, 
20Margaret (Jim) Kutzler and Catherine (Rob) Mongeau; her

1brothers, Edward Mullery and Patrick (Camile) Mullery; and her 
2nieces and nephews, Anthony and Alex Kutzler, Trevor and 
3Jacqueline Mongeau, Alisha Mullery and Kenny Paugel, with all 
4of whom she had a special relationship; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7her family and friends, the passing of Mary Alice Mullery; and 
8be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Mary Alice Mullery as a symbol of 
11our sincere sympathy.
