SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Frank John Cogan, who passed away on 
4March 31, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Cogan was born on October 31, 1942, in 
6Alton; his parents were Frank J. and Anna (Hellrung) Cogan; he 
7married the former Jane Skelton on December 26, 1964, at St. 
8Patrick's Catholic Church in Alton; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Frank Cogan was employed as a clerk at Schnucks 
10for 30 years until his retirement; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Frank Cogan was a member of St. Mary's Catholic 
12Church in Alton; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Frank Cogan was preceded in death by his parents; 
14his sister, Betty Gutierruz; and his infant brother; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Frank Cogan is survived by his wife, Jane; his son 
16and daughter-in-law, Robert and Suzanne Cogan; his daughter, 
17Melissa Cogan; his sister, Judy Cogan; and his grandchildren, 
18Kate Cogan, Samuel Cogan, and Max Cogan; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
2his family and friends, the passing of Frank John Cogan; and be

6sympathy.
