SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Robert "Bob" Slover of Peoria Heights, 
4who passed away on March 31, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Slover was born on February 13, 1954, in 
6Burlington, Iowa; his parents were Richard W. and Viola A. 
7Simons Slover; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Slover worked at ICC for many years; during 
9his retirement, he was active in teaching certification classes 
10for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of 
11America; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Slover was active in volunteering with WTVP 
1347; he also served as secretary of the Peoria County Democratic 
14Central Committee; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Slover was preceded in death by his 
16parents; and

  
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Slover is survived by his sister, Katherine 
18(Phillip) Addy; his brother, Kevin (Lori) Slover; and his 
19numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3his family and friends, the passing of Robert "Bob" Slover; and 
4be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Robert Slover as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
