| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Officer Frank Nye, who passed away on |
| 4 | | December 22, 1898; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Officer Nye was employed by the Cook County |
| 6 | | Sheriff's Department, where he served faithfully; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Officer Nye dedicated and gave his life to |
| 8 | | protecting and serving the people of the State of Illinois; |
| 9 | | therefore, be it
|
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 12 | | his family and friends, the passing of Officer Frank Nye; and |
| 13 | | be it further
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 15 | | presented to the family of Officer Frank Nye as an expression |
| 16 | | of our sympathy.
