|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of William Thomas Bauer, the Chief of Police |
| 4 | | in Wyoming, Illinois, who passed away on August 6, 2010; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Chief Bauer had previously served the Henry, |
| 6 | | Princeton, and Sheffield Police Departments in a part-time |
| 7 | | capacity; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Chief Bauer is survived by his wife, his 2 sons, |
| 9 | | his daughter, his sister, his father, and his grandparents; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Chief Bauer dedicated and gave his life to protect |
| 11 | | and serve the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it
|
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 14 | | his family and friends, the passing of Chief William Thomas |
| 15 | | Bauer; and be it further
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 17 | | presented to the family of Chief William Bauer as an expression |
| 18 | | of our sympathy.
