|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Mark Johnson of La Grange Park; and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Mark Johnson grew up in Willowbrook and graduated |
| 5 | | from Hinsdale South High School; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Mark Johnson began his career as a firefighter |
| 7 | | with the Hinsdale Fire Department in 1986; he quickly moved up |
| 8 | | the ranks, becoming lieutenant in 2001 and captain in 2003; in |
| 9 | | May of 2008, he was promoted to the position of deputy chief, |
| 10 | | where he remained until his passing; he also served as the |
| 11 | | department's training officer and was part of the MABAS |
| 12 | | Division 10 HAZMAT Team; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Prior to his service with the Hinsdale Fire |
| 14 | | Department, Mark Johnson was employed at a local department |
| 15 | | store, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, and the La Grange Park Fire |
| 16 | | Department; therefore, be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 19 | | his family and friends, the passing of Mark Johnson; and be it |
