| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of
Richard G. Trapp of Allegan, Michigan, |
| 4 | | who passed away on June 2, 2011; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Richard Trapp served his country with bravery and |
| 6 | | distinction as a member of the Third Army during World War II; |
| 7 | | he was the recipient of the Purple Heart; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Richard Trapp was the beloved husband of the late |
| 9 | | Patricia, nee O'Halloran; the loving father of Raymond (Wini), |
| 10 | | William (Linda), and John (Kathy); the cherished grandfather of |
| 11 | | Michael, Patrick, Julie, James, Anne, Katherine, Thomas, and |
| 12 | | Steven; the great-grandfather of 10; the dear brother of Irene |
| 13 | | (Bert) Johanson, Elizabeth (the late Robert) Bentley, Phillip |
| 14 | | (Jane), the late Virginia (the late Lawrence) Anich, and Walter |
| 15 | | (the late Marge); and the uncle of numerous nieces and nephews; |
| 16 | | therefore, be it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 19 | | his family and friends, the passing of Richard G. Trapp; and be |
| 20 | | it further
