| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of George Plese of Joliet, who passed away |
| 4 | | March 20, 2011; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was third generation Joliet resident and former |
| 6 | | United States Marine; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, He was retired from Cement Masons, Local #11; he |
| 8 | | was a member of the American Legion Post #1080, VFW Cantigny |
| 9 | | Post #367, and the Croation Club; he was an avid fisherman and |
| 10 | | world traveler; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, George Plese is survived by his wife of 51 years, |
| 12 | | Arlene (nee Tallman) Plese; his daughters, Cheryl (Michael) |
| 13 | | Delrose, Cynthia (Theodore) Jarz, and Vicky (John) Ramuta; he |
| 14 | | was Bopa to 6 grandchildren, Chad and Alyssa Delrose, Rachel |
| 15 | | and Jacob Jarz, and Michael and Matthew Ramuta; his brother, |
| 16 | | Anthony (Dorothy) Plese; his sisters, Mary (Conrad) Kuszynski, |
| 17 | | Joyce (Willard) Pearson, and Shirley (Ernie) Hicks; his |
| 18 | | brother-in-law, Bud Tallman; and many nieces, nephews, and |
| 19 | | cousins; therefore, be it
