SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
George Raymond Eberhardt of Mundelein, 
4who passed away on September 16, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, George Eberhardt was born on August 15, 1950, in 
6Waukegan; he was the son of George and Esther Eberhardt; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, George Eberhardt graduated from Carmel High 
8School in Mundelein in 1968; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, After high school, George Eberhardt entered the 
10United States Marine Corps and honorably served with honor and 
11distinction in Vietnam; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, George Eberhardt retired from IBEW Local 150 after 
1337 years as an electrician; and
 
14    WHEREAS, George Eberhardt was preceded in death by his 
15grandson, Elijah Myers; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, George Eberhardt is survived by his loving wife of 
1739 years, Susan; his children, Gustav, Jennifer, and Katy 
18(Pete) Myers; his siblings, Debbie (Rick) Learmont, Linda, and 
19Gary (Brenda); his grandchildren, Abigail Greenhalgh and Jack

1and Benjamin Myers; and his many other family members; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5his family and friends, the passing of George Raymond 
6Eberhardt; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of George Eberhardt as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
