| 3 | | learn of the death of Lotteo Sam Balaco of Alton, who passed |
| 4 | | away on September 30, 2011; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was born November 1, 1926, in Alton, and was |
| 6 | | the son of the late Sam and Blanche (Steele) Balaco; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, He owned and operated the Bon Air for 40 years and |
| 8 | | later owned and operated Lotteo's Restaurant in Alton; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic |
| 10 | | Church; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Lotteo Balaco is surived by his daughter, Rosemary |
| 12 | | Stahlschmidt and her husband, Chris; his sons, Sam Balaco |
| 13 | | (Charlene), John Balaco (Renee), David Balaco (Valerie), |
| 14 | | Robert Balaco (Debbie), and Michael Balaco; his grandchildren, |
| 15 | | Stacy Dixon (Corey), Katie Balaco, Jennifer Balaco, Kelly |
| 16 | | Reeder (Brandon), Amy, Jason, and Marie Stahlschmidt, Michele |
| 17 | | McCoy (Ryan), and Brandon and Lindsey Balaco; his |
