| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of John A. Stilwell of Alton, who passed |
| 4 | | away on September 29, 2011; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was born May 8, 1944, in Alton, the son of |
| 6 | | Walter and Kathleen (King) Stilwell; he served in the United |
| 7 | | States Air Force and retired from Owens Illinois Glass in |
| 8 | | Godfrey after 39 years of service; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, He was a member of the Alton-Wood River |
| 10 | | Sportsman's Club and the International Association of |
| 11 | | Machinist 660; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, John Stilwell is survived by his daughter, Cathy |
| 13 | | Asaro; his son, Brian Stilwell and his wife, Trisha; his |
| 14 | | grandchildren, Andy Asaro and Eric Asaro, Emily Radcliff, Jon |
| 15 | | Leggett Stilwell, and Heaven Stilwell; his |
| 16 | | great-granddaughter; his brother, Jerry Stilwell; his sister, |
| 17 | | Dorothy "Dottie" Parsons-Freeman and her husband, "Tot" |
| 18 | | Freeman; his former wife, Darlene Stilwell; and his caring |
| 19 | | friends, John and Bobbi Ulrich; therefore, be it
