SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William H. Paull of Aurora, who passed
4away on October 9, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, William Paull was born on May 28, 1927, in Aurora;
6he was the son of the late Frank and Lucille Paull; he married
7his loving wife, Patricia, on October 27, 1951; and
 
8    WHEREAS, William Paull was a graduate of West Aurora High
9School and attended Aurora College; and
 
10    WHEREAS, William Paull served his country with pride and
11distinction as a member of the United States Navy during World
12War II; and
 
13    WHEREAS, William Paull served as Executive Vice President
14of Home Savings and Loan; he was also affiliated with the Home
15Savings and Loan fast pitch softball team during the 1970s and
161980s; and
 
17    WHEREAS, William Paull was a member of the Illinois
18Softball Hall of Fame, the Aurora Kiwanis Club, the Golden K
19Club, and the LeLand Club; he was also a board member and past
20president of Spring Lake Cemetery and a co-founder of Helping

1Hands at Dreyer Medical Clinic; and
 
2    WHEREAS, William Paull enjoyed spending time and fishing at
3his cabin in Minnesota; and
 
4    WHEREAS, William Paull was preceded in death by his
5parents; his wife, Patricia; his sister, Frances Paull; and his
6daughter-in-law, Joie Paull; and
 
7    WHEREAS, William Paull is survived by his children, Frank
8(Brenda) Paull , William (Martha) Paull, Mary (Jerry) White,
9Robert (Cathy) Paull, and Thomas (Susan) Paull; his
10grandchildren, Ashley, Frankie, and Alexis Paull, Michael,
11Joseph, and Libbie Paull, Patrick, William, and Ryan Paull,
12Flint Johnson, and Mackenzie, Carson, and Payten Paull; and his
13great-grandchildren, Josie and Neena Paull; therefore, be it
 
14    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
15ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
16his family and friends, the passing of William H. Paull; and be
17it further
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19presented to the family of William Paull as an expression of
20our sympathy.
