SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Cuma B. Justus of Woodstock, who passed 
4away on October 31, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born November 7, 1911, in Rueter, 
6Missouri, to Irvin and Rosema (Tennyson) Davis; she married 
7Lloyd E. Justus on May 4, 1935, in Greensburg, Kansas; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, She was a charter member of the Assembly of God 
9Church in Woodstock; she was very active in the Homemakers 
10Association; she was also very involved with her children's 
11activities and would always help the other children that were 
12participating as well; she loved spending time with her loving 
13family, especially her children and grandchildren; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; her 
15loving husband of 70 years, Lloyd E. Justus; her 3 brothers; 
16and her sister; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Cuma Justus is survived by her sons, Gary 
18(Deborah) Justus and Randy (Susan) Justus; her grandchildren, 
19Shari (Kenneth) Robelia, Rebecca (Stephen) Gaunky, and Joel 
20Justus; as well as many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3her family and friends, the passing of Cuma Justus; and be it 
4further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Cuma Justus as a symbol of our 
7sincere sympathy.
