| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Charles E. "Chuck" Zola of Joliet, who |
| 4 | | passed away on October 22, 2011; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He retired from Gerdau Ameri Steel in 2010; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, He was an avid Nascar fan; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, John and |
| 8 | | Anna Zola; his brothers, John and Sonny Zola; his sisters, |
| 9 | | Helen and Veronica in infancy; and numerous aunts, uncles, and |
| 10 | | cousins; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Charles Zola was the beloved husband of Kathleen |
| 12 | | "Pinkie" nee Swan; the loving father of Missie Zola and Ami |
| 13 | | Zola; the dear grandfather of Kaelie (Tim Mitchell) Karales; |
| 14 | | the brother of Catherine "Kay" (Jerry) Petersen and JoAnn |
| 15 | | (Jesse) Fonseca; the brother-in-law of Lorraine Zola; he is |
| 16 | | also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 19 | | his family and friends, the passing of Charles Zola; and be it |
