SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ann H. Sliva of Waukegan, who passed away 
4on December 11, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born July 17, 1917 in Milwaukee, 
6Wisconsin; she married Laddie Sliva on August 3, 1940; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, She was a member of Queen of Peace Church in North 
8Chicago and more recently a member of St. Dismas Church in 
9Waukegan; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, She was an avid seamstress and loved to cook; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Laddie; 
12her daughter, Michaelene Sliva; and her sisters, Irene 
13Miecyzski and Eleanor Gont; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Ann Sliva is survived by her  son, Thomas 
15(Patricia) Sliva; her, daughter Sandra (Henry) Jasinski; and 
16her 9  grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; therefore, be

18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
