| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Tracy Anderson Cuevas of Rantoul, who |
| 4 | | passed away on December 30, 2011; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, She was born March 4, 1958, a daughter of George |
| 6 | | and Deloris (Falk) Anderson; she married Nelson Cuevas on |
| 7 | | August 21, 2004, at Word of Life Church, Rantoul; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, She was raised the daughter of an Air Force |
| 9 | | sergeant and attended many schools: Gwinn, Michigan; K.I. |
| 10 | | Sawyer Air Force Base, Michigan; Ramey Air Force Base, Puerto |
| 11 | | Rico; Oscoda, Michigan; and Eastlawn, Myna Thompson, J.W. |
| 12 | | Eater, and Rantoul Township High School, all in Rantoul, where |
| 13 | | she graduated; following graduation, she lived the rest of her |
| 14 | | life in Rantoul; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, She became a member of the American Association of |
| 16 | | Christian Counselors in 2004, and on July 24, 2005, she was |
| 17 | | ordained a minister of Christian Life Church, Rantoul; she and |
| 18 | | her husband started a ministry to Hispanic/Latino children in |
| 19 | | 2003; in October 2004, they founded Cultivators, a nonprofit |
| 20 | | agency; through the years, it grew into a substantial ministry |
| 21 | | whose mission was to provide education and training to members |
| 22 | | of the Hispanic/Latino community and others in matters |
