SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Helen F. Manier of Washington, who passed 
4away on December 25, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Helen Manier was born on September 7, 1921, in 
6Herrin; her parents were Ernest H. and Iva Lee Noonan Redman; 
7she married Brooks Manier on March 22, 1942, in Searcy, 
8Arkansas; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Helen Manier was employed as a secretary to the 
10Superintendent of District 50 Schools in Washington for 15 
11years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Helen Manier was a member of Sunnyland Christian 
13Church; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Helen Manier was preceded in death by her husband, 
15Brooks; her daughter, Barbara Koch; her 2 grandchildren; and 
16her brother; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Helen Manier is survived by her sons, Don (Pat) 
18Manier and Gary (Lada) Manier; her 3 grandchildren; her 
19brother, Robert (Ann) Redman; and her 3 great-grandchildren;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3her family and friends, the passing of Helen F. Manier; and be 
4it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Helen Manier as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
