SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Mary Reyna of Waukegan, who passed away 
4on January 28, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born April 22, 1922 in San Antonio, Texas, 
6and moved to the Waukegan area in 1947; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, She was a member of Most Blessed Trinity Parish in 
8Waukegan; and
  
 
  
9    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, George 
10Reyna, Sr.; her son, Rudy Reyna; her parents, Lazara and 
11Vicente Garcia; her brother, Ralph Garcia; and her sisters, 
12Lupe Garza, Esther Munoz, and Virginia Moreno; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Reyna is survived by her children, Rey 
14Fernandez, Bertha (Enrique) Eveline, and Lupe (Luis) Luna; her 
1511  grandchildren; her 24 great-grandchildren, her 2 
16great-great-grandchildren; her stepdaughters, Victoria 
17Hernandez, Antonia Cervantes, Eva Amador, and Gloria Garcia; 
18her stepson, George Reyna; her special friends, Licha Villvos 
19and Socorro Salinas; her caregiver and granddaughter, Silvia 
20Johnson; and by her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3her family and friends, the passing of Mary Reyna; and be it 
4further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Mary Reyna as a symbol of our 
7sincere sympathy.
