| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Ira M. Korman; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, He was a partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP USA; he |
| 5 | | was a former member of the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation |
| 6 | | (JUF/JF) Board of Directors and served on various JUF |
| 7 | | committees; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, He was also involved in Ida Crown Jewish Academy |
| 9 | | and The Hillels of Illinois and a Wexner Chicago alum; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Ira Korman was the husband of Debra (nee Coven); |
| 11 | | the father of Jacob, Jonathan, and Leo; the son of Leslie and |
| 12 | | Edith Korman; the son-in-law of Nate and Judy Coven; the |
| 13 | | brother of Harley Korman (Tensley) and Marc (Bethany) Korman; |
| 14 | | the brother-in-law of Steven (Sarah) Coven, Larry (Deborah) |
| 15 | | Coven, and Kathy Korman; and the uncle of many loving nieces |
| 16 | | and nephews; therefore, be it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
