| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of
Mildred M. "Millie" Rydman of Joliet, who |
| 4 | | passed away on March 4, 2012; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mildred Rydman was born on October 22, 1918, in |
| 6 | | Joliet; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Mildred Rydman was the owner of the Bluebird |
| 8 | | Coffee Shop on Ottawa Street and on Chicago Street in downtown |
| 9 | | Joliet; in 1980, she retired from the Will County Treasurer's |
| 10 | | Office and began work at the office of her youngest son, George |
| 11 | | E. Rydman and Associates; she truly enjoyed the busy office |
| 12 | | life and made many friends during her many years there before |
| 13 | | retiring again in 2006; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Mildred Rydman was a longtime member of St. George |
| 15 | | Serbian Orthodox Church; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Mildred Rydman was preceded in death by her |
| 17 | | beloved husband, John E. Rydman; her beloved son, Dr. Robert J. |
| 18 | | Rydman; her parents, Rade and Sophie Ostoich; her sisters, Mary |
| 19 | | Ostoich, Helen Schusner, and Patricia Bakke; and her brothers, |
| 20 | | Nicholas Ostoich, Paul Ostoich, and George Ostoich; and
