| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of
Gregory W. Swierk of Harrisburg, who |
| 4 | | passed away on February 29, 2012; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was born January 6, 1962, in Chicago; he was |
| 6 | | the son of Gregory and Joan Welch Swierk; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, He served his country with pride and distinction |
| 8 | | as a member of the United States Army; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Gregory Swierk is survived by his sons, Matthew |
| 11 | | Swierk and Michael Swierk, and his best friend, Joe Potts; |
| 12 | | therefore, be it
|
| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 14 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 15 | | his family and friends, the passing of Gregory W. Swierk; and |
| 16 | | be it further
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to the family of Gregory Swierk as an expression of |
| 19 | | our sympathy.
