SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Raul Munoz Sr., who passed away on 
4February 18, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Raul Munoz Sr. was a lifelong resident of Joliet; 
6and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Raul Munoz Sr. was an entrepreneur in the Little 
8Village neighborhood for over 40 years; he was also a farmer in 
9the Joliet and Kankakee area; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Raul Munoz Sr. was a dedicated member of the 
11National Reining Horse Association for many years and had a 
12great passion for horses; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Raul Munoz Sr. was preceded in death by his 
14parents, Esteban and Cecilia Munoz, and his brother, Thomas 
15Munoz; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Raul Munoz Sr. is survived by his loving wife, 
17Norma Munoz; his brother, Oscar Munoz; his children, Steven 
18(Maria E.) Munoz, Raul Munoz Jr. (Julie E.), Scottie (Nancy C.) 
19Munoz, and
Jose Antonio (Enedina) Munoz; and his grandchildren, 
20Crystal, Lexus, Oscar Ociel, Ameris,
Melina, Joey Anthony,

3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5his family and friends, the passing of Raul Munoz Sr.; and be 
6it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Raul Munoz Sr. as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
