| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply |
| 3 | | saddened to learn of the death of Jackie L. LaPayne of Wyoming, |
| 4 | | who died on August 7, 2012; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jackie LaPayne was born in Peoria to Cleo B. and |
| 6 | | Alice E. Jackson LaPayne on June 7, 1941; he married Connie |
| 7 | | Asbell in Wyoming on November 11, 1966; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Jackie LaPayne worked as a welder for Larson |
| 9 | | Manufacturing in Princeville, Kress in Brimfield, and |
| 10 | | Caterpillar in Peoria; he retired in 2003; he served as an |
| 11 | | alderman in Wyoming for several years; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Jackie LaPayne was a member of Wyoming Lodge 479 |
| 13 | | Ancient Free & Accepted Masons, Alta Lodge 748 AF & AM, and was |
| 14 | | an honorary member of Princeville Lodge 360 AF & AM; he was a |
| 15 | | member of Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Peoria, Order of the |
| 16 | | Eastern Star, and Stark Congregational Church; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Jackie LaPayne was preceded in death by his wife, |
| 18 | | Connie; his brother, Rex LaPayne; and his sisters, C. Eileen K. |
| 19 | | Daughtery and Joyce Camp; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Jackie LaPayne is survived by his son, Rex |
