SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Alex Braiman; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Alex Braiman served his country with pride as a 
5member of the United States Army Air Forces during World War II 
6in the South Pacific Theater; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Alex Braiman proudly graduated from DePaul 
8University at the age of 83; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Alex Braiman was a longtime and respected 
10insurance agent at Equitable Life; and

  
 
11    WHEREAS, Alex Braiman was the beloved husband for 64 years 
12of the late Shirley; the loving father of Bonnie (Leonard) Gold 
13and Jeffrey (Susan) Braiman; the adoring grandfather of Neal 
14(Mindy) Gold, Katie (Robert) Abrams, Daniel Gold, Nina Braiman 
15(Alon) Stein, Michael (fiancee, Jessica Gomberg) Braiman, and 
16Mara Braiman; the doting great-grandfather of Samuel and Eli 
17Gold and Molly Abrams; the cherished brother of Betty (Seymour) 
18Robbins and Barbara Piper; and the treasured uncle, cousin and 
19friend of many; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
