SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Matthew W. Weyen of Carlinville, who 
4passed away on October 21, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen was born February 28, 1986, in 
6Springfield; he was the son of Mark W. and Tracy (Goodman) 
7Weyen; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen graduated from Carlinville High 
9School in 2004; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen served as the Operations Manager for 
11the farming division of Doyle Manufacturing in Quincy; he also 
12served as a hunting guide for the Doyle operations; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen was a member of Ss. Mary & Joseph's 
14Catholic Church in Carlinville and the Black Hole Builders; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen enjoyed hunting duck and goose, 
16golfing, working with his dog, Rage, and enjoying life to the 
17fullest with his friends; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen was preceded in death by his 
19grandmother, Beth Weyen, and his great-grandfather, William

2    WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen is survived by his father, Mark W. 
3Weyen; his mother, Tracy and Lige Daley; his sister, Kelsey 
4Weyen; his grandfather, John Weyen; his grandparents, Vernon 
5and Sandra Goodman; his great-grandmother, Blanche Ruyle; his 
6many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog, Rage; therefore, 
7be it
  
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
10his family and friends, the passing of Matthew W. Weyen; and be 
11it further
  
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
13presented to the family of Matthew Weyen as an expression of 
14our sympathy.
