Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that the Department of Corrections, by December 31 of each year, shall issue an annual report on persons committed to Department facilities for drug-related offenses. Provides that the report shall include the class of offense, age, race, ethnicity, and last known zip code of each person committed to a Department facility for a drug-related offense. Provides that the report shall be provided to each member of the General Assembly and shall be made available on the Department's website.

House Floor Amendment No. 1

	Deletes reference to:
	730 ILCS 5/3-2-2

	Adds reference to:
	730 ILCS 5/3-5-3	from Ch. 38, par. 1003-5-3

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Places the amendatory changes in the provision concerning annual reports made by the Director of Corrections to the Governor and General Assembly in the Section on the annual report of the Director of Corrections.
