Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning definitions.

	Deletes reference to:
	735 ILCS 30/1-1-5

	Adds reference to:
	735 ILCS 30/25-5-45 new

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Provides that quick-take proceedings may be used for a period of no longer than one year from the effective date by McHenry County for the acquisition of described property for the purpose of public improvements to serve McHenry County. Effective immediately.
