Statutes Amended In Order of Appearance
20 ILCS 1305/1-42 new

Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois to provide that certain State agencies shall designate one or more officials or employees to serve as Department Ambassador. Provides that Department Ambassadors shall serve as a liaison between the Department and the public and shall have certain duties.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Provides that the bill is subject to appropriation.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
20 ILCS 1305/1-42 new
Adds reference to:
35 ILCS 110/3-70

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Service Use Tax Act. Provides that purchases of manufacturing machinery and equipment and graphic arts machinery and equipment made on and after September 1, 2004 through August 30, 2014 qualify for the manufacturer's purchase credit regardless of whether or not the serviceman made certain elections to exclude the transaction from the Act. Effective immediately.
