Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Medical Practice Act of 1987. Requires that physicians submit documents from the Federation Credentials Verification Service while applying for licensure or renewal of licenses under the Act. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
225 ILCS 60/21

Replaces everything after the enacting clause with the introduced bill and deletes a provision that requires the holder of a license to provide continued credential verification through the Federation Credentials Verification Service in order to renew his or her license.
