Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Chicago Firefighter Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Incrementally increases the minimum retirement annuity for current and future retirees who have retired from service at age 50 or over with 20 or more years of service, up to $1,250 per month beginning on January 1, 2017. Also makes a technical change. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.
