Amends the Public Utilities Act. Makes a technical change in the short title Section.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1

	Deletes reference to:
	220 ILCS 5/1-101

	Adds reference to:
	225 ILCS 605/3.15

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Animal Welfare Act. Limits the remedy available to a customer who purchases an unfit dog or cat that subsequently dies. Provides that the customer may be reimbursed for the full purchase price of the dog or cat plus reasonable veterinary fees associated with the diagnosis and treatment of the dog or cat, not to exceed one times (rather than 2 times) the purchase price of the dog or cat. Effective immediately.
