| 1 | | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 830

| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 830 on page 3, by |
| 3 | | inserting immediately below line 12 the following: |
| 4 | | "(f) When a default in the payment of a fine, fee, cost, |
| 5 | | order of restitution, judgment of bond forfeiture, or any |
| 6 | | installment thereof has been included in the Comptroller's |
| 7 | | offset system, under Sections 10.05 and 10.05d of the State |
| 8 | | Comptroller Act, and the State's Attorney has retained |
| 9 | | attorneys or private collection agents under subsection (e) of |
| 10 | | this Section, the State's Attorney shall assign not more than |
| 11 | | 33% of the additional fee described in subsection (e) of this |
| 12 | | Section to the retained attorneys or collection agents."; and

| 13 | | on page 3, by inserting immediately below line 14 the |
| 14 | | following:
|
| 15 | | "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 16 | | becoming law.".
