AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1243 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1243, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
42, as follows:


 
5on page 3, lines 20 and 21, by replacing "sperm, eggs," with "a 
6gamete"; and
 
7on page 12, by inserting immediately below line 10 the 
8following:
 
9    "(c) If 2 or more conflicting presumptions arise under this 
10Section, the presumption which on the facts is founded on the 
11weightier considerations of policy and logic, especially the 
12policy of promoting the child's best interests, controls."; and
 
13on page 14, by deleting lines 8 through 13; and

1on page 37, line 21, by changing "fact" to "facts"; and
 
2on page 38, line 3, after "time", by inserting the following:
