| 4 | | "Section 5. The Interscholastic Athletic Organization Act |
| 5 | | is amended by adding Section 1.10 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 1.10. Disabled student athletes. The Illinois High |
| 8 | | School Association, in consultation with the American |
| 9 | | Association of Adapted Sports Programs, shall establish |
| 10 | | interscholastic athletic programs adapted for participation by |
| 11 | | student athletes with physical disabilities or visual |
| 12 | | impairments who are participating in an adapted athletic |
| 13 | | program developed by a school district. The Illinois High |
| 14 | | School Association shall require any coach of an adapted |
| 15 | | athletic program to receive training specific to that |
| 16 | | program.".
