AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2335




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2335, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
41, as follows:


 
5on page 7, by replacing lines 8 through 14 with the following:
6                "(iii) Except in municipalities with more than 
7            3,000,000 inhabitants, the The portion of the site 
8            or facility used for the composting operation must 
9            be located at least one-eighth of a mile from the 
10            nearest residence, other than a residence located 
11            on the same property as the site or facility.

13on page 19, by replacing  lines 14 through 19, with the 
14following:
15         "for landscape wastes generated by such person's own 
16    activities which are stored, treated, or disposed of within

2on page 20, immediately below line 8, by inserting the 
3following:
4            "(A-5)  any composting additives that the 
5        composting facility accepts and uses at the facility

7        composting and do not exceed 10% of the total 
8        composting material at the facility at any one time;"; 
9        and

11on page 21, in line 10, immediately after "(A)," by inserting 
12"(A-5),".
