| 4 | | "Section 5. The Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975 is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 31.2 as follows:

| 6 | | (230 ILCS 5/31.2 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 31.2. Automated external defibrillators. Organization |
| 8 | | licensees shall provide no less than 2 automated external |
| 9 | | defibrillators (AEDs) that are operational and accessible to |
| 10 | | industry workers at all times. At least one AED shall be placed |
| 11 | | in the paddock of their racing facility. At least one AED shall |
| 12 | | be placed on the backstretch of their racing facility. |
| 13 | | Organization licensees shall provide for AED training to be |
| 14 | | conducted annually for their staff and industry workers in |
| 15 | | English and Spanish.".
