| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2941 on page 11, by |
| 3 | | replacing lines 1 through 20 with the following:

| 4 | | "No former officer, former member, or former State employee and |
| 5 | | no employee or immediate family member of a former officer, |
| 6 | | former member, or former State employee shall, for a period of |
| 7 | | 2 years after the last day of the most recent term of office to |
| 8 | | which the former officer was elected or, if not elected, for a |
| 9 | | period of 2 years after the former officer, former member, or |
| 10 | | former State employee ended his or her employment with the |
| 11 | | State, engage in lobbying, as that term is defined in the |
| 12 | | Lobbyist Registration Act, whether: (i) as a lobbyist; (ii) as |
| 13 | | an owner, partner, shareholder, or some other interest-holder |
| 14 | | in a business that engages in lobbying; or (iii) in any other |
| 15 | | manner in which the officer, employee, or immediate family |
| 16 | | member derives salary, compensation, or other form of payment |
