AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4080




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4080, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
41, on page 1, line 4, by changing "Court of Claims Act" to 
5"Code of Civil Procedure"; and
 
6on page 1, line 5, by changing "Section 8" to "Section 2-702"; 
7and
 
8on page 1, by deleting lines 6 through 16; and
 
9by deleting pages 2 through 4; and
 
10on page 5, by deleting lines 1 through 13; and
 
11on page 8, by replacing lines 25 and 26 with the following:
 
12        "(4) the petitioner did not by his or her own conduct

1    voluntarily cause or bring about his or her conviction; 
2    however, neither a confession nor admission later found to 
3    be false constitutes bringing about his or her own
