| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4268 as follows:

| 3 | | on page 25, immediately below line 22, by inserting the |
| 4 | | following:

| 5 | | "(f) No collective bargaining agreement shall be binding on |
| 6 | | any government agency until it has been ratified by a majority |
| 7 | | vote of the agency's governing body, with that vote taking |
| 8 | | place after the public meeting described in subsection (e) of |
| 9 | | this Section."; and
|
| 10 | | on page 28, immediately below line 17, by inserting the |
| 11 | | following:
|
| 12 | | "(e) No collective bargaining agreement shall be binding on |
| 13 | | any school board until it has been ratified by a majority vote |
| 14 | | of the district's school board, with that vote taking place |
