| 4 | | "Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 4-1.13 as follows:

| 6 | | (305 ILCS 5/4-1.13 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 4-1.13. Notification of absence from State. A |
| 8 | | recipient of benefits provided under this Article who plans to |
| 9 | | leave the State for more than 90 days shall notify the |
| 10 | | Department of his or her plans in order to remain eligible to |
| 11 | | receive such benefits. Upon notification, the Department shall |
| 12 | | suspend the recipient's benefits until he or she returns to the |
| 13 | | State. Any recipient who fails to fulfill the notification |
| 14 | | requirement under this Section shall no longer be eligible to |
| 15 | | receive benefits provided under this Article.".
